Details & specifications

Review a compact straw-style water filter for an outdoor equipment kit. The blue cylindrical unit has capped ends, and the source describes an iodine-resin treatment medium. Its laboratory performance, service life and compatibility with different water contaminants are not documented in this listing, so the original broad purification claims should not be treated as verified.

Source details

Format: portable water-filter straw.
Current color: blue; additional colors in the images are illustrative.
Source-listed medium: polyiodic or high-iodine resin.
Intended setting: outdoor travel and camping.

The source provides no supporting test report for its 99.99% claim, 0.5-second treatment claim or assertions about bacteria, viruses and organic pollutants. Pore size, rated capacity, chemical-removal ability and safe-use instructions are not supplied. Do not assume it makes any untreated water safe to drink; obtain verified product specifications and treatment instructions before relying on it.
